See-Through

No, I’m not brave. I’ve ingested your heart, a brave heart, remember. It’s not like mine. Not at all.

A darkly magical celebration of the people that society forgets, written for young actors.

Two ghosts, a young mother and daughter, are trapped in their crumbling block of flats. The girl is desperate to go but her mother won’t leave yet. A cockroach man watches on - infatuated, inadequate. He ate their corpses. He knows their hearts. A mangey, cantankerous couple of peacocks intervene, helping the girl find her voice and get them all out of there.
